Cavalier sailing

PA Auckland Sydney helmsmen have taken a narrow points lead over their Auckland counterparts after the first two races for the Cavalier Trans-Tasman Challenge Trophy being sailed on the Waitemata Harbour. The Sydney team, representing the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, dominated the first race, scoring 44 points to 34. The Auckland skippers did better yesterday scoring 42 points

to the 36 scored by the Sydneysiders. The Sydney team will go into the third race on Wednesday with an 80-76 lead.
