N.Z. wins polo test
NZPA Sydney New Zealand completely dominated play in the final polo test match against Australia at Warwick Farm, Sydney, yesterday, to wrap up the four-test series with a convincing 10-7 win. The win gave New Zealand a 3-1 margin in the series. Jim Watson, who scored five goals and John Walker, who scored two goals, completely dominated the game for New Zealand, and the Australians had
no answer to their very fine horsemanship and clever play. Australia came back after ti® fifth chukka to be one goal behind, but New Zealand com. pletely dominated the final chukka to secure the interna, tional Dunhill Trophy. Jim McGinley, the Australian captain, was by far the best player for Australia, and tried hard to rally his team in the last two chukkas, but the Australians had to be content with second place once again.
