PA Auckland The circumstances of the death of a man in Middlemore Hospital over Easter are expected to be examined by the Auckland District Coroner (Mr A. D. Copeland). The man allegedly was refused admission on three occasions before being admitted.

The hospital’s superintendent (Mr J. D. Read) said he did not want to discuss the matter in view of the pending investigation by the Coroner.
