Call to Post Office
Sir, — On Wednesday, April 18, I rang the Post Office to arrange for the colour of my employer’s telephone to be changed from green to white. I had to tell seven people (including the operator) the whole story. Is this a record? — Yours, etc., J. E. GLEN.
April 19, 1979. [This may be a record; but we suggest that the efficiency of telephone operators can only .be reduced if they are required to hear the whole story about a matter for which they are not responsible.—Editor]
