PA Wellington The value of retail sales in Februarv. 1979, was 15.9 per cent higher than in February. 1978, says the Government Statistician (Mr E. A. Harris). The Statistics Department’s monthly survev of retail trade shows that the total [value of Februarv sales was [5449.5M. an increase of 1 per [cent compared with January, I 1979.
