Too many vans

PA Wellington The Government’s axing of the proposed Post Office courier service has caused at least one slight problem: the Post Office has already acquired some of the vans it needs.

A spokesman for the office of the PostmasterGeneral (Mr Couch) said that up to 10 vans had been bought. “They will be absorbed into the Post Office fleet,” he said.
