Seminar on women
More than 50 men and: women have enrolled for a two-day seminar, “Women in Management,” organised by the University of Canterbury’s extension studies and business administration departments at the request of i the National Organisation of Women. The seminar, to be held today and tomorrow will cover the issues and problems facing women who!
seek management positions, and the strengths they bring to these posts. Speakers will include Mrs Sonia Davies, an industrial advisory officer in Wellington, and the first woman member of the Fediration of Labour executive. Persons from a wide variety of occupations have enrolled, including staff from Government departments, tourist companies, librarians, md social workers.
