H. Burrows; the Skellerup Woolston Band will provide the music and the singing will be lead by the Royal Christchurch Musical Society. This Anzac Day observance is being arranged by the Christchurch City Council in conjunction with the Christchurch Returned Services Association. LOAN 1979 $6200 IT is hereby publicly notified that the Waimairi County Council, at a meeting held in the Council Chambers on Wednesday, 18 April, resolved by way of Special Order:

That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and by virtue of the sanction of the Local Authorities Loans Board granted at a meeting of the Board held on 20 March., 1979, the WaiMairi County Council hereby resolves to proceed to raise in New Zealand, a loan to be known as the Housing for the Elderly (Barnes Road) Loan 1979 of the sum of ?6200, for the purpose of meeting additional costs in the erection of 10 flats for the housing for the elderly for which the Housing for the Elderly (Barnes Road) Loan 1976, was raised and reimbursing the General Bank Account with the amount previously expended for this urose, subject to the following determinations—

1. The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be 30 years. 2. The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders, a rate or rates exceeding 3.5 er cent per annum. 3. Notwithstanding anything in Clause 2 hereof, the rate of interest may be increased or reduced not less than three years after such art of tlie loan is borrowed and at intervals of not less than three years thereafter to a rate not exceeding the rate for the time being fixed by the Housing Corporation of New Zealand for new loans granted for similar purposes, provided that in no case shall the rate of interest be increased to a rate in excess of the maximum rate for the time being determined by the Minister of Finance pursuant, to Section 9 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956. 4. The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half yearly instalment extending over the term as determined in Clause 1 hereof. 5. The payment of all such instalments shall be made in New Zealand and no such instalment shall be paid out of loan money. 6. Such further conditions that may be stipulated by the Mortgage Loans Committee of the Housing Corporation of New Zealand.

Further notice is given that the resolution relating to the Special Order will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held in th Council Chambers, Fendalton, on Wednesday, 16 May, 1969, at 7 p.m., for confirmation as a Special Order. A copy of the resolution may be inspected at the County Office, Fendalton, during normal office hours. J.
