Guest tipster
Warren Barberel, retiring secretary of the Canterbury Jockey Club, is in the “hot seat” as a racing tipster for “The Press” today. His selections for the final day of the Canterbury Jockey Club’s Easter meeting are published today. Tomorrow will be Mr Barberel’s last race day as the club's secretary. Mr Barberel has made The Clippie (Warstep Slakes) his best bet for tomorrow.
For a “roughie” he suggests The Clippie's stablemate, The Skipper, in the Autumn Plate.
