Golf tour stopped
NZPA Johannesburg The French Government has stopped a womens’ golf team from touring South Africa, it was announced vesterday. The secretary of the South African Ladies Golf Union (Esther Cutler) said she had been told by the president of
; the French Ladies Golf Union (Mrs. P. Segard) that the ; French team would not leave f for South Africa this week. The decision follows the I early departure from France of the Transvaal provincial i rugby team which cut short i its tour last week because of I French opposition to aparr theid ih South African sport.
