J. Burrows suspended
PA Dunedin. J. A. Burrows, the driver of Ardross. had his horseman’s licence suspended until May 5 after the Broadlands Pace at Forbury Park on Saturday night. The suspension concerned an incident after 400 m when Lord Forbes broke B. G. Nyhan, the driver of Lord Forbes, was fined $5O for attempting to push out Unique Princess after 500 m, causing his horse to break. Sly Boy and the Trump were declared ineligible to race at totalisator meetings until May 5. Slv Boy which broke at the l6oom in the Wrens Handicap when trailing the pacemaker, disorganised the field and put Local Joe out of the race. The Trump broke four times during the running of the Fay Pace.
