Tunnel closing

Sir, —I have a high regard for Ann Hercus, whom I know personally. She is a most capable person, dedicated to the welfare of all her electorate, including Mr V. Maxted (April 12), who in adversity, and needing help, could rely on her aid. That she is able to smile while in opposition to such a mundane and inefficient Government says much for her courage. I have no connection whatsoever with V. Maxted. —Yours, etc., (Mrs) V. MAXSTED. April 13, 1979. 3
