VIEWERS’ VIEWS
CLUB SHOW Sir, — To John Collins’s review of “The Club Show” a fervent amen. I watched the programme on Saturday, April 7, for the first time, and I have seldom (seen anything so pathetically amateurish. It would be a disgrace to a church hall out in the backlocks. If “The Club Show” is seriously regarded as Saturday night prime-time entertainment for the nation, then clearly New Zealand’s television is in an even worse state than its economy. — Yours, etc., lAN HOOD.
