Canterbury’s top two billiards players, Brian Kirkness and Dave Meredith, struck immediate form when the inter-club competition began last week. Kirkness made a break of 115 in beating another leading player, Eric Simons, and Meredith had a 110 unfinished in compiling the highest total of the round.
