Socred to convene at Waimate
Waimate will be the venue for the Social Credit Political League’s annual South Island convention this year. The two-day convention will be held on May 18 and 19 at the Waimate High School. The guest speaker at the convention will be Mr D. Shields, Dominion president and coordinator of the Society for Proportional Representation. Mr Shields is a senior lecturer at the University of Waikato.
