'Skid Row’ suspect
The Los Angeles police have arrested a 29-year-oid man in connection with a series of killings known localy as the “Skid Row stabber” murders, Police Chief Daryl Gates has announced. Mr Gates named him as Bobby Joe Maxwell a local resident who was known to frequent the “Skid Row” area, a sanctuary for tramps and drunks.—Los Angeles.
