But the • death was treated as homillcide early yesterday morning II after a young man was taken

He was later charged with : the murder of Mr Arama and ■ ‘taken to the Auckland Hos- ’ I pital where last night he was II recovering, under police I guard, from head injuries. Another man was also ar- , rested and charged with mur. ■ der and appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at Heniderson. He is Kauwia Rua, , aged 23, a foreman, who was j remanded in custody without plea for a psychiatric report. Henderson policemen were last night still looking for several members of the Headhunters gang, to which Mr Arama belonged. A senior officer said the people sought were wanted for questioning over matters subsequent to the shooting.
