Four months jail for young man
Greymouth reporter ] “It is a sad day for the community when a young man appears in court on four charges of driving with an excessive blood-alcohol content,” Mr N. L. Bradford, S.M., told a defendant in the Magistrate’s Court at Greymouth when sentencing him to four months jail. Taylor said the defendant had recently com-| pleted a course of treatment! for alcohol at Hanmer Springs. The defendant had been drinking almost continually ' during the Christmas-New Year period and had littlerecollection of the offences.
