An impressive export activity is well established in Australia, the Middle East and the Pacific region. Through access to overseas technical and marketing 'know how,’ new product development is considerably assisting in achieving planned expansion. The successful applicant will be responsible for the sale and distribution of cable and accessory products to all New Zealand customers other than power utilities and for inventory/distribution policy. The person will manage a national sales force and deal personally with distributors and large customers. This appointment offers considerable challenge in a growth company. The location is in New Plymouth. REQUIREMENTS: • Proven experience in the practice of performance orientated sales management. • Drive and initiative in the motivating of a sales force. • The ability to plan, forecast, formulate and implement policy in sales, distribution and inventory areas. • Exposure to modern sales management practices tn a pro- - gressive company. • Evidence of good tertiary educational attainment.
