Lights out of action

Some minor delays to traffic were caused yesterday when traffic lights at two busy intersections, that of Montreal Street and Moorhouse Avenue, and at Hospital Comer, went out of action.

The lights failed about 7.30 a.m. but were out of action for less than an hour. The two faults were not connected, that at the MontrealMoorhouse intersection being caused by a fault in the light controller, and that at Hospital Comer by a different problem.
