Eiffel Tower, a leading New Zealand Cup contender, will be expected to return to winning form on the flat in the President’s Handicap, main event and first leg of the T.A.B. double on the second day of the Gore Racing Club’s spring meeting today. Eiffel Tower will be opopposed by the top mare. Court Belle, which looks ready to show winning form, and the consistent Bellbridge. A weak field of sprinters will contest the second leg, the Stewards’ Handicap. Castle Flight will not start, leaving five runners, of which Hazy Light may be the best prospect. There was rain during the week-end, but it has not affected the track.
