Fitter Injured By Explosion

(N.I. Pr«»« Aooetationl NELSON, July 25. A fitter was badly injured when a 1000 gallon diesel storage tank exploded at the Stoke depot of Highways Construction (Nelson), Ltd., today. He is Peter Wallace Brown, a fitter, of Stoke. He was taken to Nelson Hospital with burns to the face and one hand. Mr Brown and an assistant were taking off the lid of the tank when the explosion occurred. The heavy lid was hurled 100 yards into an adjoining paddock.
