New Magistrate Appointed

(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 25. Mr D. J. Sullivan, of Palmerston North, has been appointed a stipendiary magistrate. He will take up the appointment in Wellington at the beginning of September. Educated at Timaru Boys’ High School and at Canterbury University College, he served in the Second World War with the Royal Navy. After the war he began legal practice in Westport where he served for two terms as a member of the Westport Borough Council. . From 1960, he Has been in private practice in Palmerston North. He was a foundation member of the Manawatu Marriage Guidance Council.
