School’s New Gymnasium

The Riccarton High School’s new gymnasium will be opened on August 6 by the Director-General of Education (Dr. K. J. Sheen), said the headmaster (Mr A. J. Gainsford) in his report to a meeting of the school’s board of governors. Mr Gainsford said that enrolments for next year were 214, which was about average. The board approved four applications from senior Malayan students to study at the school next year.
