ENTRANCE
TO GROYNES Block B all To Be Built
A quotation of £134 10s for the erection of a concrete block wall at the entrance to the Groynes picnic grounds was accepted by the Waimairi County Council last evening. The Papanui Rotary Club has offered to contribute £65 towards the cost, and the council accepted its suggestion that a suitable plaque, associating the club with the council in the development of the reserve, be erected with the fence.
The plaque is expected to cost about £2O.
