PARIS, July 21. President Ho Chi Minh, in a letter to President de Gaulle, yesterday reaffirmed that his people were determined to fight to the final victory in the war.

The North Vietnamese leader’s letter was brought back from Hanoi by Mr J. Sainteny, who has just completed a special mission to North Vietnam. President Ho said: “We told Mr Sainteny that, in the face of American aggression, our people are determined to fight despite all sacrifices until final victory.” The Note was a reply to a private message from General de Gaulle to President Ho. The permanent North Vietnamese representative to France, Trinh Ngoc Diet, said 'that the United States bomb-

ings, “far from depressing our determinations as the Americans hope, are doing the contrary in stirring up our hate and making us more determined than ever to win their war of destruction.” In an interview on the Europe No. 1 radio network, Trinh accused the United States of trying to destroy dykes, schools, hospitals, pagodas and churches as well as roads, bridges and factories.
