Servicemen And Votes
Sir, —In reply to J. Matthews, one does not have to realise, or ponder over 4000 years of war history. All war is against human nature, particularly when one’s upbringing has been in a Christian family and with an uncle and bro* v .er who were Methodist ministers. Nevertheless, one must do what one knows to be right when the country of birth or adoption is threatened, and it is so; and so again 1 sav, the under-age voting should be given only to servicemen.—Yours, etc., ST. MARTINS. July 20, 1966.
