Specification For Crayfish
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 20. The fish committed of the Standards Association has made a draft standard specification covering fresh and frozen crayfish and tails. It specifies quality requirements, permissible temperatures, times they may be held, and transport and hygiene requirements. The draft standard is being circulated for comment to interested persons or organisations in New Zealand and overseas.
Copies are available from the director, Standards Association, private bag, Wellington.
Student Hostel.—Queen Salote’s farmer residence Atalanga, at Epsom, is to become a hostel for students. The Tongan Government has almost completed alterations. The hostel will be officially opened today by Princess Siuillkutapu, daughter of Prince Tu’lpelehake, Premier of Tonga.—(P.A.)
