Trend To Wool
DUSSELDORF. The firm of Bemburg in Augsburg, Germany, famous for its pioneering work in rayon, is now using pure wool, according to the International Wool Secretariat. Bemburg (which has been manufacturing rayon since the 1920’5), has now been licensed by the secretariat to use the Woolmark. The trend to wool in Germany is not confined to synthetic manufacturers. There are now 1244 domestic and foreign Woolmark licensees, ten of which were traditional cotton consumers.
