Yesberg Champion For 7th Time

With a superb display of potting last evening, T. Yesberg beat D. Hallum, 4-0, to win his seventh Canterbury amateur snooker championship.

This is the third year Yesberg has completed the snooker-billiards double. With last evening’s win he has now

He adopted this method in ; frame three; but it had no ■ effect on the precision potting ’ of the new champion. Whatever facet of the game he ployed to seek victory Hallum was out-manoeurvred, and ' whatever colour he potted he ’ was out-scored. The final frame ; was a repeat of the previous : three.
