PINE FUNGUS DISEASE
Canadian For Research (N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA, July 19. A Canadian forest pathologist who worked on the pine fungus disease dothistroma pini in Tanzania, East Africa, will arrive in Rotorua in September to join the research team working on the disease at the Forest Research Institute. He is Dr. D. E. Etheridge, forestry pathologist at Quebec Regional Research Laboratory of Canada. Dr. Etheridge has been awarded a senior research fellowship to work at the F.R.I. for one year.
