KAITAWA FUND

Donation From] England (N.Z. Press Association! AUCKLAND, July 18. The father of Captain G. R. Sherlock captain of the collier Kaitawa which was lost off Cape Reinga, has sent a donation to the fund for the crew's dependants from England.

The captain’s widow said in Auckland today that the donation of £lO would be sent to the fund’s trustee. Her father-in-law, Mr F. Sherlock, of Newquay, Cornwall, had written to ask if there was any fund and, on receiving details, had sent the donation.
