SEVERELY INJURED

Man Struck By Railcar (N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, July 18. A Hastings man was admitted to hospital with severe injuries after his car was struck by the Wellington-Napier rail-car at a level crossing tonight He was Mr John Iggo, aged 36, single. His pelvis was broken and both his legs fractured. He was extricated conscious from the wrecked car which was swept 75 yards down the track by the impact The accident occurred at the Awatoto level crossing about 8.30 p.m. Mr Iggo was the sole occupant of the car. His condition was tonight described as serious by the Napier Public Hospital.
