VALUE OF EXPORTS

Rise In 1966 Trade Year <N.Z. Pres* Association! The value of New Zealand exports for the trade year to the end of June was £380.6m, f.0.b., against £370.9m the year before. This is shown in provisional figures from the Department of Statistics. During the year the total value of New Zealand produce exports rose by £B.7m. There were rises of £11.3m for wool, £4.4m for hides and skins, £l.sm for preserved milk, £l.4m for casein and £l.2m for petroleum products. These increases were partially offset by falls of £B.Bm for meat and £5.3m for butter. Wool exports rose by 11 per cent in value and 15 per cent in weight.
