Sobers Has 9 Wickets

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—-Copyright > CANTERBURY (Kent). The West Indian skipper, G. 8. Sobers, carried his team to victory by an innings and 56 runs over Kent yesterday. Sobers took nine wickets for 49 runs—the best analysis of his career and the best by any West Indian cricketer in England. Scores: West Indies 382, Kent 202 and 124.

Rugby Visitor.— The president of the English Rugby Union. Mr D. Harrison, will watch the first test between the AH Blacks and the Lions on Saturday.
