Transfer Of Postmasters

The Post Office has announced the transfer of three postmasters in the Christchurch district. The Sheffield postmaster (Mr D. C. Brady) has been promoted to postmaster at Kurow. Mi F. D. Hazeldine, of Kaiwaka, has been transferred to Hanmer Springs and Mr G. E. Jackson, postmaster at Dallington, has been promoted to Moorhouse. The superintendent of the mailroom at the Chief Post Office (Mr R. A. Shaw) has been appointed manager of the Dunedin postal branches. His position will be taken over by the senior supervisor of postmen’s branches (Mr J. R. Mclntosh).
