Yearling Bull Price
What was believed to be a record price for the South Island for a Friesian yearling bull was paid at a sale of Friesian cattle in Christchurch last week. It was 330 gns. However, on June 8, N. J. Sherriff and Sons, of the Deloraine stud, Milford, Temuka, sold a rising yearling, Deloraine M.D. Count, to R. N. Selbie, of Timaru, for 350 gns. This sale was conducted by the New Zealand Farmers* Co-operative Association and the Canterbury Farmers’ Cooperative Association.
