CAR DEALER CHARGED

Breach Of Act Alleged (N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, July 11. Two charges of breaches of the Motor-Vehicle Dealers* Act against Bruce William Mundy, a managing-director, were adjourned today by Mr Stewart Hardy, S.M. Detective Senior-Sergeant J. G. Long asked the Magistrate for an adjournment when Mundy’s counsel, Mr M. F. Chilwell, Q.C., entered a plea of not guilty. Mundy, who did not appear, is charged with procuring the company of Fleetwood Motors, Ltd., to commit two breaches of the act They arose out of the sale of a Pontiac car.

It is alleged that Mundy, as agent, failed to forward all money from the sale of the car within seven days to the owner.

He is also charged with failing to forward particulars of the transaction to the owner within seven days.

The hearing was adjourned to July 29.
