A modem bungalow, at 74 Rudds road, Linwood, was sold for £2lOO at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr D. Chapman. The house has two bedrooms, lounge, sunroom, and kitchenette-dinette. There is also a garage on the section of 31.6 perches. The rates are £23 9s 2d, and the Government valuation is £2300. A five-roomed house at 81 Middlepark road. Upper Ricearton, was passed in at £3lOO. The property was offered on account of the estate of Ada May Jennings by Mr N. H. McCrostie. Other improvements on the section of one acre 7.9 perches include seven loose boxes, and a two-roomed cottage let at £1 10s a week.
