Winds Delay Tug
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 10. Bad weather with winds gusting up to 60 knots delayed the tug Mohala for about eight hours during the weekend while it was towing two Auckland Harbour Board hoppers from Gisborne to Auckland. She arrived at 3.30 p.m. today. Captain R. W. Fraser, of Auckland Water Transport 1964 Company, Ltd., which owns the tug, said that the tug had to reduce speed as the hoppers could not have been towed any faster in the conditions. The tug turned around soon after berthing the hoppers in Auckland and set off for Napier to pick up some barges.
