Stopford, is the only first test player omitted from Great Britain’s training squad of 16 from which next Saturday’s second test team will be chosen. The 16 players are:—Backs: A. Keegan, W. Burgess, I. Brooke, A. Buckley, F. Myler, G. Wriglesworth, A. Hardisty, W. Aspinall, T. Bishop; forwards: B. Edgar, P. Flanagan, C. Watson, J. Mantle, W. Bryant, H. Poole, D. Robinson.
