No trace of the children had been found late last night. They were last seen near the Cowles Stadium. The missing children are: Richard Watts, aged 6, fairhair, and wearing a red tartan shirt and blue jeans; Malcolm Lees, aged 10}, fair hair, brown eyes, wearing a grey school uniform; John Lees, aged s}, fair hair, blue eyes; and Bruce Forbes, aged 11, fair hair, of slim build, wearing blue jeans and a blue cardigan. The children probably have a Labrador dog with them. No anxiety was felt about the children until they did not come home for tea. The police were not called until after dark.
