KOREAN TRIAL

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) SEOUL, July 11. A prominent South Korean political leader, Mr Min-ho Suh, aged 63, was indicted today on suspicion of having helped the Communist cause in his public speeches. Mr Suh, the leader of the projected Democratic Socialist Party, had been under arrest since June 3 for investigation of his remarks opposing the sending of Korean troops to Vietnam. He had also allegedly expressed willingness to meet the North Korean Premier, Mr Kim 11-sung and exchange maiL journalists and athletes with North Korea. The prosecution alleged that these remarks constituted violations of the provisions of the anti-Communist law which prohibit any act of supporting, encouraging and praising the Communist cause.
