Hulme Wins Trophy Race

The New Zealander, D. Hulme, in a Lola Chevrolet, outstripped the field to win the 150-mile Martini international sportscar trophy on Saturday. He covered 52 laps of the grand prix circuit at an average speed of 88.92 m.p.h. R. Bondurant, a rising young American star, was second in a McLaren Chevrolet, and the British driver, D. Hobbs, was third in a Lola Chevrolet.

On the way to victory Hulme set the fastest lap of 'the race of 100.55 m.p.h.
