No Action On Noisy Planes

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 10. The Government would not introduce legislation to outlaw excessive aircraft noise unless it could be proved legislation was necessary, the Minister of Civil Aviation (Mr McAlpine) said in Parliament.

He had not seen a report that the British Government proposed to introduce legislation to prevent excessive aircraft noise, he said in reply to Mr C. J. Moyle (Opp., Manukau) but he would investigate the report, if it could be produced.
