Bursaries For Music Study
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 10. Three members of the N.Z.B.C. Symphony Orchestra have been awarded N.Z.B.C. bursaries for overseas study during 1966-67. John Hyatt, sub-principal in the cello section, will undertake refresher study in Italy and England. Two younger members will spend 12 months training, Edward Pople, violin, at the University of Indiana under Joseph Grimgold, and Gary Brain, percussion, at the Berlin Hochschule of Music.
