Theft At Burnham
A tin containing between £2OO and £3OO was stolen from a table by the entrance to the corporals* mess at Burnham Military Camp between 9 p.m. on Thursday and 4.30 p.m. on Friday.
The tin contained the proceeds of a collection for the wife and family of Corporal E. J. N. McLean, who was killed on June 11 when he was struck by a car outside the Rolleston Hotel.
