T. Yesberg Beaten

The Canterbury cnampion, T. Yesberg (Richmond), was convincingly beaten by A. Maffey (Woolston II) in the thirteenth round of the inter-club billiards competition. Woolston II continued its winning run by beating Richmond 3-0. A splendid break of 70 by V. Cheat (Christchurch W..M C.) was not sufficient to earn him victory against the former Canterbury champ‘on, E. Simons (Post Office). Simons won the game with an unfinished break of 56. Another good break was the 60 compiled by T. Mintrom (Woolston ID. Results:—
