TOWN HALL DESIGNS
About 750 people visited the Durham street Art Gallery yesterday afternoon to view the Town Hall architectural competition designs. It was the busiest day since the display opened.
The gallery was open from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., and the attendance, which included many families, was about double that of any other day. The total attendance to yesterday afternoon was 4300. The display will close at 9.30 p.m. next Saturday.
