Mr Trevor Baron, of Hamilton, New Zealand, was named a regional director of Lions International at the organisation’s convention in New York yesterday.—New York, July 10. Mr J. S. Engel, supervising field officer with the Lands and Survey Department at Wellington, has been appointed Commissioner of Crown Lands, Hokitika. He succeeds Mr E. N. Young, who has been appointed Commissioner of Crown Lands, Nelson.
